Hmmm. Something I just realized.

If they don't let anyone into the Forest, how in the WORLD did Ganondorf threaten and then curse the Great Deku Tree? O_O!

Hmm, good point. But maybe he warped there? In the manga, he sent Ghoma there, he never entered the forest.

He jumped over and into the forest, which is what every character should do in video games when there's an obstacle of limited height. Seriously, why bother teaching my PokeMon Cut, when — IRL — Fly would work just as well?

Via his evil magic powers he decided to send The Great Deku Tree an evil message and then voodoo style attack him. With needles and everything!

Kinda like what he did to Phantom Ganon.
