Work was boring. Still need to switch with Sara-or-Hiten for my Tuesday morning so I can go to the doctor. If not, oh well, I just reschedule. The REAL fun part will be going to Otakon on Friday after a CLOSE on Thursday. :::bites lip in anticipation:::

As for the rest of today, Phill finally convinced me to climb aboard his moving deathtrap motorcycle, on the condition that if I didn't like it, he'd stop pestering me about it. I didn't like it. :D It was far too scary -- oncoming traffic, wtf! -- and on the way back from Astoria Park (which was very nice, until the sun, which was starting to set, got offensive), I saw less than half of the ride. The helmet I wore was very uncomfortable, and I couldn't relax; the whole experience just rubbed me the wrong way.

But I fired the cannon again. I shot a potato 163 of my paces away. I have yet to measure out what that is, but it's pretty far. There was a tree 148 paces away, Phill shot potato fragments ninety-eight paces and an aluminum foil ball twenty-nine. My strides are more than a foot long -- that I know for certain -- so we were getting quite a bit of distance. And very loud BANG!s as the cannon was fired. :D
