So I finished that monstrous list. All in all, it took about eight hours. Bleh!
I had to stop at the post office yesterday after work. That was a nice forty-five-minute wait just to mail a LETTER. Then again, it's Midtown. I should expect that. Either way.
After that wait, I had to hike up to Times Square. I would have stayed dry, if I hadn't been waiting, but I did, so I wasn't. I was prety much soaked through by the time I made it to the movie theatre, and I was almost late for the movie to boot.
I saw UP (with Michele and Aaron and Kitty and Kitty's friend Dylan. The people who couldn't make it are stupidheads). I should know better than to go see Pixar movies (because they're always, as Olua put it, "vaguely depressing"). 9_9 It was also sixteen-fifty to see it. Now, I know it's Manhattan, so movies cost more anyway, and I know it's 3D, but seriously. Sixteen dollars. I remember when my whole family could go for that much. SIXTEEN DOLLARS! The movie was cute, though. I enjoyed it.
There was a briefish stop downtown, and then I went home. Got there around eleven.
Today ... kinda easy. After I was done with the list, there was sushi for lunch. I can't remember the last time I got full on just sushi and tea (as opposed to getting appetizers and dessert as well. ... Okay, I had some daifuku, but it was at the very end, I swear!).
Forty-five minutes to go and then I'm heading off to Rubie's for toy swords and maybe Michaels for foamcore, brushes, and paint. I haven't decided if I want to go there now, or save it for next week. Either way, I'm not looking forward to it, but I need to make weapons. XD There is also a nearly-finished pair of shirts waiting for me at home, and I should probably find my vinyl, too.
Squee! AnimeNEXT~~~
Still no video card; trying to fix that. @_@
