Sunday.

List in hand, I tackled Jamaica Ave. I got my galoshes, finally, and lining for the costume, along with yarn for the scarf (which I should really work on before I get to bed). I found the pajama section at Conway (I kinda love their jammies, not gonna lie) and didn't see what I wanted, which was lame and disappointing, and my local Modells is racist against hockey (which shouldn't be terribly surprising, considering that it's in my neighborhood and people who look like me generally aren't hockey fans). The library has beautiful, new, pristine copies of SoT, so I'm very happy, but they're not catalogued yet, so they're not available for borrowing. That's okay, because I have crafting stuff to do for the next untilKatsucon.

I still need to head out Rosie to check out socks, and while I'm out there pray that there are stores there where I can get the rest of the shit I've been missing. If anything, it's a long bus ride, so at least I'll have a chance to work on the scarf. I'll have that tomorrow and progress photos with luck (not that there's much to show, but it's Monday and it'll be nice to have to motivate myself, I suppose. Just gonna finish cutting these pieces.

MOTIVATION! It feels good. :Db

What the absolute fuck, Brain.

The past two nights I've had dreams about performing on stage, specifically dress rehearsals. Yesterday, it was ichiP! at some con, and a few people were starting to trickle in as the stage was being setup and sound checks were being run. There were two small groups of seats, and the attendees were complaining about stuff. One of them was a really annoying Finnish blond kid. He had bad acne.

Tonight, a bunch of other Friendlies and I were singing on stage, just one or two of us singing one or two lines of a song at a time. We'd come out, sing our piece, and leave, but quickly enough so that there were no breaks in the song. Izzy and Es were helping to do me up as Turkey (what?!); Izzy was drawing on my face, and I don't remember what Es did. Everyone was signing along to the entire song backstage, or missing their cues for some reason. I remember laughing at the fact that I was wearing three masks somehow (I can only remember two now), and when I went out on stage, it was with my coworker Derek, who was wearing normal clothes.

...I'm just gonna get dressed and go to the mall now. At least I still have pants and I know there's no math test, and the invasion's still in two days. Whew.
