Edit: This isn't going under the cut, though. Y'know the P.S. 22 Chorus? They were recently at the Academy Awards? Yeah. That's who sang our anthems. O Canada was a little straightforward, they started harmonizing towards the end, but HOLY SHIT that solo in The Star-Spangled Banner (2:50). SING IT, GIRL! I'm going to be perfectly honest with you: I teared up. I've never heard that song so beautifully and purely delivered and it fucking moved me (and did you hear how quiet it got?!). So, Staten Island, I guess you've got something good going for you after all! ♥
Tomorrow is fabric shopping/reference hunting/bus-ticket-buying with Es. Yay.
