Last night doesn't count.

My computer is actually straight-up dead, I took it in for service last night. My phone is also on its last: it's been nearly three years, I should really look into a new one. With no way to access the internet last night, and therefore no way to post, I'm calling a mulligan and ignoring yesterday.

Now, if I'd forgotten today, then I'd be in trouble. I'm borrowing Esmeralda's laptop now, as she doesn't use it much. And I might be here right up until Thanksgiving because I've been warned it could take up to two weeks to fix the computer. But hey, it's free, so take all the time you need, friends.

Today was the least horrible day of the week, with respect to work and home life. I was busy, I didn't get yelled at, one of the hounds is off tomorrow, the other has left two hours early for the past few days, we have heat, and I have internet again. And I'm still writing! About half my stuff has been original ideas I've come up with on the fly day-of -- not that it's that difficult to write 100 words -- and I'm quite proud of myself for that, considering all the writer's block I've been facing all year (I know what happens but HOW DO I GET THEM THERE). Anyway, I should get back to that.
