Oh dear, we're not doing well at all, are we?

This new interface is thoroughly terrifying and I can't believe that I not only forgot--

oh good at least the keyboard-command formatting still works. hurray for rich text--

--forgot that NaBlo existed, but wasn't reminded until *someone* messaged me on tumblr for a Christmas card. And we're even later than last year. Yikes.

Do you know I completely forgot NaBloPoMo was a thing this year? I was so silly, thinking I was purposefully not going to try NaDra this time around, and that I was off the hook but... I literally just remembered.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Starting to get the hang of this! It's cute, and seems like it could be tons of fun. I'm glad it's not something that can (or should) be played constantly, and I can catch up whatever little catching up I can at lunch or at home on days I have to work.

These two days off have been wonderful and I'm really not keen on going back to work on Monday. Sigh.

Battled an upset tummy tonight. I won, but it killed my mood.

ANYC Day One

Not much to report. Wandered around the Dealer's Room, didn't see much but bought a Voltron shirt.

Then I hit up the Alley. TONS MORE SHIT and I will be dropping all my cash tomorrow. XD

Es is doing better, but is taking double doses of ibuprofen. :(

I drove today and it was SCARY

It was only like 18 miles (29 km) but it was at night and it was in Westchester (mostly) so it was TERRIFYING. I had to go to the repair shop to act as Es's proxy to sign off on some repairs for the laptop, since she can't drive right now. I treated myself to some coffee while I was out, and also to help keep me calm (Hamilton helps. Always).

Training at work today actually went really well. I worked with JF as well (I didn't know he was learning this. Well, at least now I know who my eventual replacement will be lol), and Tessa helped fill in the gaps for however long I'm doing this. I don't feel very confident in staying; the hounds kill so much of my spirit, augh. But, at least for the past two days, it was nice to relax and be myself.
