D: Disappointed.

Except for the guy who was dressed up as Marie Antoinette (I kid not), Halloween was boring. Sure, I spent a good chunk of the day repeatedly sneaking into EB Games to watch Advent Children and get distracted by the strobe light above the Wii countdown clock, but augh. It was BORING. Absolutely no one came in the store once we ran out of candy.

....and save for Evie, Elaine, and the guys at EB, no one knew who I was. D: (I did get a picture headbutting Kitty, though. :3 "Wait... you're there, and she's there... twins? TWINS?! :::hugs 'em both at the same time, grinning madly:::" Jen and Jeanne stopped by not too long after Elaine went back to her store. "Whoa! Another set of twins! :::hugs them, too, still grinning::: This is the luckiest day, EVER! Why couldn't Dagger have a twin? T_T" Oh, Zidane.)

OH! And I saw Mrs. Black, Kalina's mom! o_O; That was a bit weird. Kalina's a senior at Cornell, now, studying Africana and medicine. Ambitious, much?

Edit: Some pictures. There's Wendy's godson, Nicholas, as the cutest pirate evarrrrrrr. And me headbutting Kitty (you can't see my tail at all! D:). LOL! GET IT! ZIDANE! (Why don't I have more pictures of my coworkers, you ask? No one else dressed up. Sure, Evie wore her wings, and Wendy looked horribly girly, but that. Doesn't. COUNT. Flores didn't make the day special at all. I should have gotten the EB boys, now that I think about it. Sigh. LOL, Jose, noting my costume, kept saying he was the final boss, and told me to get my friends to help me because I'd die if I didn't. Creepy music playing in the background at EB. Anthony was also a ghoul-thing and Ito was a fake-ass priest. XD)

Because Lysia said that my store looked different than what she'd imagined, I took pictures all around during the huge downtime I had.

From the outside, looking in.

The left front wall. It's empty because we suck.

The right front wall looks a little better, though.

The front table looks the best.

The Not-On-Sale gondola. Ignore the balloons; they're only there for Halloween. And probably Kitty's birthday, which is today.

Same gondola, other side.

The plush wall doesn't look bad. I'm happy to say it's a full-fledged WALL again, though. Last week, there was a whole mess of crap there instead. The store's been one big mish-mosh of stuff since they decided not to send us many new things.

The registers. (Holy crap, I just noticed that we've got a new ceiling light! That thing's been broken for MONTHS.)

The triangle and candy island. Both look pathetic. In the background, you can see a totally EMPTY side of a gondola; Evie was in the process of moving things around. We have NOTHING, it's so sad.

Everything in the back of the store is on sale (i.e., we're everyone's junkyard. Things they can't sell because they're too old come to Queens. Our customers be cheap, yo).

The right clearance wall. I don't know why, but my flash reFUSED to fire. Anyway, I like Shinkansen.

The left clearance wall. I need to remind Evie to move the floodlight boxes from the top shelf....

The middle clearance wall doesn't look so bad. It won't, until Saturday, when it gets GANG RAPED by customers rifling through it and buying none of it.

From the back, looking out. The gondola on the right was previously empty; Evie had started to put towels there while I was busy being a shutterbug. ... It's not like we had customers.

Clearance gondola number one.

Clearance gondola number two.

And that's my store. It's devoid of both merchandise and customers and we spend most of our time just standing around. We fail. D: Still, it's my store, and my second home, so I can't complain too much. ♥

Glad to have been of service, sir.

Oh man, they actually let you take pictures inside the store like that? All the pics I took of TRU were done in secret because it's very not-allowed there (copyright issues). :o

Well, there wasn't really anyone to stop me. It was just me and the manager, and she didn't say that I couldn't. No one's ever told me I couldn't take pictures, and it's nowhere in the handbook, so I guess it's okay. :::shrug:::

a) Yes, please do buy one of everything. :D
b) It's Kitty's birthday, and don't forget it's her sister Mimmy's birthday, too! We're having a party on Saturday, without the guest of honor. :::rolls eyes:::
