FEAST

I was excited when I woke up this morning, even though I knew there wasn't going to be a spinny-cage-of-death ride. Poop. Still, I was out of the house at ten in shorts and a t-shirt cuz it was hot, and on the train.

Waiting at Jamaica, met up with Seto, we managed the ride to Babylon okay, and found a marsh and several other white trash fairs taking place. Met Alex at the station and his dad drove us back home.

Played with the cats, said hi to Amy, started FF8 and SO did not understand junctioning, not to mention the buttons were COMPLETELY different from 7 and 9. Other stuff. The four of us headed out to the Feast at three. "Is Amy our Klaus?!" YAY RPG Maker.

It didn't start until four, of course, so we walked to 711 and got stuff (commenting about the little 12 year olds out in front of the deli that thought they were all grown. Twelve. My god, I graduated elementary school when they were BOOOORN). Communal Slurpee, yay. On the way back, we walked slowly until things started to open.... and slowly realized that the wind had picked up and it was going to rain in a few hours. Shrug. We ate clams and calamari, got fried oreos and then... went back home. There was NOTHING to do.

So we decided to play more games. We couldn't decide on anything, so Alex played through Power Rangers: The Movie (I kid you not), and we commented on how stereotypical a lot of the characters were. Both Seto and I fell victim to the Itis and took our turns catnapping. After Alex was done and I woke up, we still had time, so we decided to play a few rounds of Smash Brothers.

I SUCK AT SMASH BROS. I buttonmash because I've never owned any of the games, and it took me until the last round to figure out how to block. And that was the round that I didn't lose first, though I liked to think of it as "winning at being the worst". After that, we were gone.

Train ride seemed shorter on the way back, and it was more quiet.

Got home and online. Yay. But I got to see THREE of my friends today, and that's the most important thing. I got out of the house. I was happy, even though I suck at Smash Bros.

Tomorrow's a shoot.
