WHERE DID MY TITS GO.
Al shared the wonders of "bondage" (a.k.a. tape-binding) with me today. XD
Kiera tried to show me on Saturday at Otakon, but we were in such a rush because we were late and we were all so tired that I didn't quite understand and just went for my usual sports bra/bandage/cheer shirt binding. It worked fairly well, but as always, it was hard to breathe, made me hot (see running around Baltimore like a headless Cucco) and slid down. Also, it left bruises. Not quite as bad as the ones that I got from AnimeNEXT (which hadn't fully healed by Otakon) or the one from my inhaler that Thursday, but bruises nonetheless.
But now that I had time and instructions written out (second post) before me instead of Kiera's "I THINK it goes like this....", I got it to work. Wish I had a bit more tape, though.... And I love you for trying, Kiera. You made a lovely Irvine.
I was a little frightened of tape on bare skin... 'specially the more sensitive areas... cuz what if it comes off, y'know? Then OOPS I DON'T HAVE A BRA (and I'd be a bit self-conscious. Venus always wears undies). Not like it matters much, since none of my boys have open shirts, but if they suddenly grew a pair of girl boobs... um..... >.>;;; But I gave it a shot anyway, and with just THREE pieces of tape on -- the anchors and one strip across my back -- I was amazed. It wasn't hard to breathe, I wasn't sweating, and it certainly wasn't going to fall down. The more tape I used, the flatter the girls got, and the more I was absolutely impressed. I managed six strips across my back before I ran out of tape (didn't have much to begin with, it was left over from guard and Link's scabbard and Cid's bandages and...) and I was pretty flat. Could have been better, but, y'know.
Taking it off didn't hurt a bit. I'm totally doing this in the future.
