Schedule, January 8-14
Jan. 9th, 2006 12:12 amSuffering Vagabond withdrawal. Olua FINALLY finished reading it, and we did nothing but discuss it on Saturday. Okay, I lied, we did other things (like walk around a lot because we got food and because I missed a bus I was ten minutes early for... sigh), but we discussed it a lot and I called her stupid for not having read when I told her to because she missed out on so much good discussiony stuff. I found all my notes on the story (...don't look at me like that!), and reread the first and last chapters. Sigh.... Such good stuff.
Take your time, Luce. XD I'll be okay without, really.
So... Justin's engaged. He IMed me not too long ago telling me so, so congrats for him and Cassie! Her ring is very pretty, by the way: a princess-cut center stone on a white gold band with baguette side stones. This is soon going to be commonplace, my friends getting married. We're all old enough. How freakin' weird is that? Wasn't I fourteen like ten minutes ago (I honestly don't remember being fourteen; nothing much special happened in '96), and now I'm gonna be twenty-four in a few months?! And I've got a job and I'm gonna move out sometime this year and...
EW WHEN DID I GROW UP. I wanna be a Toys R Us kid. :::sits down in the middle of the floor and sucks her thumb.:::
But seriously, congrats to Justin and the future Mrs. Justin. ^_^

Naty starts at the Academy tomorrow. ;-; She's LEAVING us. I wonder who'll get the assistant manager position, or if Huangy's gonna come to Queens full-time? The meeting was mostly uneventful; everyone's biggest gripe was the dress code.
Lynda, zomg we need to do costume stuff! (I trust I can still talk to you about that? ~_^ Oh! I have to show you tape-binding!) :::hops from foot to foot::: Your schedule is more or less steady, right? I'll see if I can ask for Tuesday off next week if we can't meet on Friday. MWAH.
Edit: Shaina TOTALLY made my day today. I got to work rather early today, and was contemplating sitting in the back to knit for a few minutes. I signed in and figured I'd get ten minutes' overtime, so yay. I hadn't been on the floor for five minutes when a customer walked in shouting, "Yeah, so I don't understand all this Hello Kitty stuff..." and I looked up from whatever it was I was doing, ready to go into a speech about Kitty (look how I've been trained. Sigh.) when it was SHAINA OMGGGGGG. And so I screamed and everyone probably looked at me funny but I didn't care because it was my SHAINA OMGGGGGG. And so we chatted briefly (and Naty said hi. XD) and decided to meet up tomorrow. YAY SHAINA OMGGGGGG. She was gone too quickly (and didn't buy anything! Rawr! I have cheap friends... lol), but I was a lot happier.... until I had stupid customers to help. Ew. They always ruin things.
