Oh crap, I forgot to put a title!
I did most of my laundry, which is amazing because I haven't done it in forever; I hadn't had the time to do it myself (note, I have clean clothes, but I haven't done laundry myself. Savvy?). Cleaning things makes me happy. ^_^
I decided, while the last load was drying, to get my butt over to the bank. I have a check and some pennies to deposit. Long story short, I waited at the bus stop for over a half-hour for a bus that's supposed to come every fifteen minutes. Four busses passed in the opposite direction, and when one finally DID show up in mine, it was packed to the gills. If I had somehow managed to make it on that bus, there's no guarantee I would have gotten to the bank before it closed.
Sigh. There goes my bit of cosplay shopping for the week (I'd meant to drop by Michael's).
I came back, chatted, and felt exhaused out of nowhere, so I took a nap. I meant it to be only a half-hour, but it wound up being three. I've been sleeping a LOT lately, and I don't know why. I need a vacation. XD A whole week to veg and do nothing (I'd be bored after two days and I know it). It didn't help that it was suddenly freezing in here, and I can't stay awake to save my life when I'm cold. I pulled on a fleece, some slipper socks and went back to sleep. Yay, lethargy!
I would have finished cleaning -- i.e., put my cosplays away for the winter and vacuum -- but it was too late, and if it was cold in here, then I didn't want to venture into the attic where my cosplay crate is. I'll do it another, warmer, day.
I putzed around. Tried playing Harvest Moon: Magical Melody again, and realized why I'd given up before; the controls were a bit much to figure out. I don't really like them. I'll get used to it eventually, but I miss my GBA. I still laugh about my poor L and R buttons. I switched over to AoL. Yes, AoL. I've never beaten it, and I'm ashamed of that; it needs to be remedied sometime before the game turns twenty (or before I turn twenty-five). When last I'd played, I was looking for the second palace. And... I still am. X_X I spent over an hour killing two-point blobbies to level up TWICE (attack - 4; magic - 4; life - 5) and I still can't get anywhere. Anyone got a strategy for not being killed by Goriya's boomerangs? Lysia? It seems that no matter how fast I turn around, there's always a boomerang coming right at Link, and always the side where his sheild isn't. Thanks; it would help A LOT. X_X I hate this bloody game, and will be happy when I finally beat it so I never have to do it again.
My family just arrived. I don't know why they're here -- or why they're here SO LATE. It was just after one when they showed up! -- but I hope they leave as quickly as possible. I don't like them, and I want them out of my house. Not to mention that the children are making noise. WHY ARE THERE CHILDREN AWAKE AT THIS HOUR. It's a good thing I'm tired, or I might never get to sleep. Work in the morning, but I need a new mouse. I hope to be back before seven.
