Almost a relapse.
Aug. 31st, 2006 07:40 pm( I'm over it. Or, at least, I'm hiding. )
In other news, I bought new sneakers! It rained Tuesday and Phill picked me up from work, but he'd parked on the roof of the building. My first step onto the roof let me know that I REALLY needed new sneakers, so I bought a pair today. They're almost identical to the ones that I've been wearing (see: Cid, Reka, Dominic), except that the soles and laces are black (and the soles are a bit tougher), and they cost $5 more. INFLATION OMG. We'll see if they're worth it in two years; that's how long I've had these.
( Workrabble. Now with 50% more confidence! )
"This looks fine, Kristy."
"Do you think it's okay that the 99th and 100th words are 'the' and 'end'?"
"I hope so."
--The Babysitters Club #1, Kristy's Great Idea, by Ann M. Martin (graphic novel version by Raina Telgemeier). (Or however the hell you cite books. I learned a million different ways from fifth grade to freshman year in college and they all contradict each other.)
THE END.
