Baysiders!
I spent Saturday with Roger and Katie.
Around three, Katie gave me a ring and said she was planning a visit. I told her I was happy to be a part of the antics. She was on the Clearview, and I don't know why, but she decided to get Roger at work first. In Woodhaven. o_o; So over an hour and wrong directions over the phone later, they finally showed up. YAY! We went back to Roger's so he could change into casual clothes, and sat around in his bedroom for a while deciding what to do.
We got Chinese down the block. We still had to decide our next course of action, and it would just be the three of us. I would have liked to have found more people, but we made a nice, cozy group. We decided to play pool at the place on FLB and 3...30-somethingth.
I LOST EVERY GAME. XD Roger won most of them; Katie won one or two. In one of the games, I accidentally made a *very* nice shot... only, it wasn't on one of my balls. From the previous game, I'd thought I was still solids when I wasn't. Oops. I kept helping Roger along, and in return, he paid for my beers. Only one of them was mine! >_<
Roger had to be up for work in the morning, so we left the pool hall about eleven-thirty, and drove back to his house. Of course, he didn't go inside. No, we sat out in front of the house TALKING for two and a half more hours. It was very enjoyable, though, and I learned a smart-people joke! *ahem*
Silver and Copper are in a bar, and Gold walks in. Silver calls out to Gold, "'Ey, you!" (A-U. Au is the symbol for gold.) I laughed WAY more than I should have, and then I told the interrupting coefficient of friction joke (appropriate icon is appropriate). :3
Eventually, Roger trudged inside and Katie brought me home, and so here I am. Maybe we could do this again next week, but we decided that hangouts DEFINITELY need to happen at least once a month. I also decided I need to live in Roger's neighborhood!
