Things I forgot to mention!
•Sherlock Holmes. Saw it on Wednesday with Phil-with-one-L and KS. It was amazing and slashy. :D I couldn't stop staring and drooling over everything Jude Law was wearing. :::grabby hands:::
•Abi's New Year party: we toasted to Sir Patrick Stewart at the beginning of the evening. All of us. We're fucking NERDS. But it was lovely, and one of the best toasts I've ever participated in!
That said, today was a fucking bust. >.>; Not much cleaning done, and my sides are too much in pain to think about lugging cans of paint around, so I didn't get those. I went out for yarn and find the prices of synthetic sheep have fucking skyrocketed. -_-# So one more trip tomorrow and I hope I can knit a scarf in a few days' time. While carrying several cans of paint home. I wonder how much I'll need....
Rangers won tonight, 3-2. It came really close; they were up 2-0 late in the third when Boston tied it in a minute and a half. :O With a minute and a half to go, Higgins put the Rangers ahead, and then I held my breath for a minute until they won. Whew. Also, I heard a baseball analogy. Said of Lundqvist, "he's throwing a no-hitter," or something to that effect. WHAT?! XD I mean, I guess the goalie can be likened to a pitcher, since both are considered to "give up" what the other team scores, but... the no-hitter bit is something of a stretch. What would a perfect game be, no shots on goal? Impossible. And a plain old shutout is what, then? All that is beside the point, anyway. Hockey, get your own isms, okay? You don't need baseball's.
Damn you, What the Heart Forgets. Making me cry like a bitch, but I can't stop reading you, and I kinda get excited every time there's more. ._.; :::WISHES she could draw:::
Pull me away from my RP so I can strip my walls, someone.... Edit, 5 Jan 0006 - Note! Stripping wallpaper? So much harder than it looks. ._.; I suppose the first round of the party will be stripping my walls? And then removing that garish pink paint that seems to be underneath....
