Today was dumb.
Jan. 5th, 2010 11:46 pmFuck you, Q76, you can't run correctly even during the week. Augh!
At least I got my yarn today. I paid a lot more for it than I should have, but I'm knitting. And I'm already 1/7 done; I expect to be 2/7 done before I get to sleep. (Twenty-one stripes makes it easy to mark sevenths.) I also got new ribbon for Seychelles -- not what I'd've liked, and it was ALSO expensive, but the wire is starting to poke out of the ribbons I have, so, and fishie stickers! :D
Orientation today at noon, and I stuck around until half-past-five for some ungodly reason. Went to Michaels, where I was able to save a whole TWENTY CENTS on the skeins of yarn, but found only two colors. On the way back from Raindew, I walked past the Q76 stop -- it was dark and I didn't know where it was, so I thought I was going to the right place! -- and watched the bus run past. Discovered the next one was along in a half-hour (wtf it was only eight!) so, rather than sit and freeze, I decided to hoof it and stay warm. I made it from 35th Ave. all the way down to 73rd, which is about two miles. WHAT THE FUCK. XD
I'm too excited about knitting to do the paper today. And I need to play catchup anyway. Bed as SOON as I'm done!
I have a math test in the morning. Pfffft. :::pretends to be catholic for two seconds. puts a shoebox of easter grass under her bed and hopes to get a manada in the morning. c'mon, bad friends wise men! :D:::
