For those of you who may not understand this post, in short, I'm part of a dance troupe that performs at anime conventions on the East Coast (mostly New York Anime Festival, where we've been legit guests the past three years). NHK -- the Japan Broadcasting Corporation, which is like the Japanese equivalent of the BBC -- took an interest in us after our performance at Sakura Matsuri (in Brooklyn, not DC, I wish!) this year. They filmed our panels (!) and interviewed us at AnimeNEXT last month, and now they want to do a LIVE television spot to air on Japanese television in two weeks. THIS IS HUGE, especially for a group of college students who were just doing it for funsies. *_*
