Another strange dream.

Most of the dream, which was rather long, involved a scavenger hunt. It was very strange because it was clear, made sense in real-world terms, and it lasted for quite a while. The length of the dream is especially striking because I kept waking up from my stupid playlist. ... I play music while I sleep. It drowns out the noise children make and it's something I want to listen to. ANYWAY.

It was a team of me and three other people. I knew them in the dream -- and I think I might have known them in real life, too -- but I can't remember who they are (except Theresa (not Teresa)). It started off in the middle of action, I think. I remember having a list in my hand, and looking for clues. It was pretty aimless at first, but then I was looking in a strange kitchen drawer and a small hairpin fell out WHICH SUDDENLY MADE SENSE for whatever reason. I kept looking and found a clue that I needed.

I think I even said "I found a clue!" XD

In addition to finding everything on the list, and getting to the end, we had to determine the identity of the person who thought up our set up our clues. I looked at the list again, and it had become a series of riddles, each with a clue hidden in it. I read the next one, and jumped up, because I thought I had figured out a little bit of our riddlemaster's identity.

I don't remember the middle bits, but I ran around, and was suddenly in my house, looking for something behind the couch, based on which way a picture was looking. >.>;; So I found a backpack behind the couch cushions of the couch where my mom was relaxing and watching TV. She was like just "uh huh whatev" and kept watching. D: You disappoint me, Mom. So anyway, I pulled the backpack out and looked at my clue sheet -- I'd long since figured out that our riddlemaster was female (and that's as far as I got), based on the hairpin and something else, but it didn't seem like that mattered anymore -- and determined that I needed to turn the bookbag inside out and replace whatever was inside upside-down, and that this was the last thing I had to do. That was awesome because I didn't see any of the other teams, which meant we were about to win.

I had some trouble with the bookbag, and arranging soda bottles inside upside-down, but I made it outside; the checkpoint was around the corner. For some reason I had Dominic with me (my one-legged suitcase, affectionately named after Mr. Deegan. :3), and he was slowing me down a LOT. I saw Rani as I knew her last year creeping up behind me, and I tried to walk faster, but I couldn't and she passed me. It was night. >.>;;; Um, Mario was standing there, and welcomed Rani to the checkpoint, but I was certain somehow that she didn't have everything she needed to win, so I urged him to check all of our stuff and declare me the winner.

Geez, even in my DREAMS I'm disgustingly competitive against my OWN FRIENDS. D:

So that didn't work out, suddenly I was in TRU Times Square, on the second floor in the Barbie section. There was a parade of Zelda geekery going on. I DO NOT KNOW WHY but there was. So everyone was really bowing and it was hilarious. And then ANOTHER SCAVENGER HUNT broke out. We were all waiting on line somehow. Randomly, the only person I remember being there was Chris Troy.

What the hell, dream. Why are you trying to make sense but somehow making less sense than usual?! I don't understand youuuuuuuu.

So we lined up and then a whistle blew and TRU gained a bit more of a department store look, so we ran through the aisles trying to find the person giving out the scavenger hunt packets. Chris found the dude a step ahead of me, and then we both ran to a nearby table, where we opened them. o_o There was a short-answer test. Someone else came along while I was trying to answer my questions and was like "I KNOW THIS HURRRRR" (especially over the one about Vader and Luna Vachon YEAH I NO RITE) so he started answering them for me, and I was like WTF. So I snatched the second page of this assignment and started working on it -- very simple math word problems with lots of stupid extra information so it took longer to read the thing than to do the problem -- and some rule-person who kinda looked like a cross between Kelly's mom and my old Girl Scout troop leader and someone else I can't put my finger but who is an utter bitch was like RAWR and decided to take away half my points on the first page and a quarter of the points on each subsequent page. When I tried to argue it, because seriously, this dude just came along and stole my quiz from me D:, she decided to change it to an overall thirty percent. Before I could figure out if that was worse -- I don't know how many pages the quiz was -- I woke up. o_o;;;

I just thought about it, and if the quiz were more than five pages, an overall thirty percent deduction would hurt more than fifty on the first and twenty-five on each of the next. Judging by how thick that envelope was (despite the unnecessary bubble wrap!), it's a safe bet to say that the quiz was more than five pages. XD NERRRRRRD.

Why can't I ever have a normal dream about falling or waking up somewhere naked? XDDDD I hope this made sense enough to follow.

I guess you had to be there? XD

IT'S VADER TIMETIMETIMETIME! >8D

That sounds like a fun dream hun. Riddlemaster sounds great lol. All my dreams are weird, but they're normal for me. I don't think I've ever had a dream like this...with a real plot and everything.

To dream about a scavenger hunt suggests that you are trying to recapture something from your past. Alternately, this dream can signify that you need to explore your hidden talents.

the hairpin... You may be changing the way you approach your self-image and appearance.

If you dream of taking a quiz, the meaning relates to whether or not you had difficulty coming up with answers. If you had fun taking the quiz and scored well, you will have easy success in whatever you are trying to achieve. But if you had trouble, got confused or scored badly, you have a fear of failure that's preventing you from trying your hardest at something.

just saying.. ^^;

The scavenger hunt bit sounds pretty dead-on, given my Whiny McWhinesalot post from the other night. XD But the hairpin, I wonder, because it wasn't mine. I opened a hidden drawer and it fell out. Cuz I'm happy with my appearance. I think I'm a bit plain-looking, but I've mostly come to terms with that. XD Geeky girls aren't meant to be gorgeous. You can't be smart and pretty; I'll settle for smartish. XP

The quiz, well, from what I can remember, I was pretty peeved when my paper was snatched away from me, and while the problems looked easy, I didn't have a chance to answer any of them, especially not with Bitch Queen taking away nearly a third of my points. :/

Yay analysis! XD

ho snap, nice anaysis, dude!

but what would freud say? D:

And why was i in your dream? When ever i'm in someones dream, i'm a skank. O.O

Freud would totally say that The fact that a dude beat me to getting the test packet and that a dude stole my quiz paper signifies that I feel they have stolen something from me, namely, my penis, and that I just want a cock. And the fact that I opened the drawer and a hairpin fell out means that I'm hiding my attraction to women because I secretly want to fuck them WITH MY PENIS. XD It's too easy, man.

No, no skankage, but because the only time I've seen you face-to-face was when you were cosplaying L, that's how you appeared in the dream. XDDDD But it was totally you, and you were a good team member. ^_^

Mayhaps but I have not used the jurnalz for many a weeks!

I had a dream where an evil woman was mean to some dog, so I threw her into some water. That'll teach her what for! THE END
