Katsucon was a blast. Hope everyone there had an awesome time, too! :D There will be a final post on it tomorrow, perhaps, after I've rested, cleaned, and settled back in at home. I'm so tired, especially since I drove from Maryland House to Kiera's (about 185 miles (296km)). X_X

(しんじて (信じて shinjite), from しんじる (信じる shinjiru), means "believe"; しんで (死んで shinde), from しぬ (死ぬ shinu), means "die." I considered using the kanji, but then I figured low-level readers wouldn't understand it, or have access to a kanji dictionary. Also, fun fact: 死ぬ is the only Japanese verb that ends in "nu.")

(No, that's cool, it was a good question! There are SO MANY verbs that sound and look similar, though, like つくる (作る tsukuru), to make, and つかう (使う tsukau), to use. I get them mixed up ALL THE TIME, and it's not like you can avoid using them, really! I have yet to devise some sort of mnemonic device to keep them straight.)
