Happy April 8th!
The eighth of April has always been a sort of lucky day for me. A lot of good things have happened to happen on this day. I don't know why this day in particular stands out in my mind, but it does, and I associate good things with it. But this year, I can tack on something new: April 8th is FrUK Day. :D [/shameless]
The Mets lost last night, BUT THE RANGERS WON OMFG, giving me all sorts of heart issues. In classic Mets fashion, they were down three-one when I flipped over to the TV, but came back only to lose seven-six. What's really hilarious is that Boss, Jimmy, Julian, and I were talking about this very peculiar quality the Mets have yesterday morning. The Rangers, however, were marvelous from the get-go, scoring three in the first and ending the game five-one. They're in ninth with eighty-four points; Boston's in eighth with eighty-five, Philly's in seventh with eighty-six, and Montréal's in sixth with eighty-seven. Boston has a game in hand over the other three. Nailbiting.
First week of April is now officially my favorite time of year. The weather is great, there's baseball AND hockey, FrUK Day, just. Yay. It was gorgeous yesterday (but everyone's a wuss; I wore a sleeveless shirt, yeah, but I had a work shirt over it AND a hoodie. Suck it up, pansies; just two months ago you were bitching about all the snow), it was like Tatooine out there! Hell, it's Tatooine out there now, at freakin' seven in the morning (I should have left already; still in my jammies. LOL).
Dream!me very oddly takes losing teeth in stride. Like, "Oh, they're wiggling. *yank!* Problem solved. LOOKIT THE HOLE IN MY MOUTH!" *shudders* I hate the losing-teeth!dream; it freaks me out every time. Last night, the entire left half of my top teeth were gone. Augh, augh, AUGH, I hate that dream. Can't I just have the flying or falling or naked dream instead? I've never had those and I think I'd much rather prefer them. ... I get natural disaster!dreams a lot, though. Tornadoes and earthquakes and junk. Anyway.
After class tonight, I'm meeting up with Guillermo for an assignment for school. As a result, I won't get home until about half-past-ten. I'm going to be extremely cranky and exhausted (because I'll COMPLETELY miss the Mets game tonight, as well as NHL scoreboard-watching), so please bear with me. Also, because it's freakin' THURSDAY, I don't have much time to check on things, so I hope no one posts too much (riiiight).
CPAC ON SUNDAY WTF DO I SAY?!
Edit, 11:00 - Wait! Another reason today is awesome! *holds up a fat wallet* PAY DAY! :D (I can afford stuff again! LIKE FOOD!)

Ha! As it stands now Rangers aren't going to the playoffs, and you know who is? That's right! The Devils. First in their division, second in the Eastern conference, and 6th overall in the league! Hahahahahahaha! Suck it! >D /asshole
See you at CPAC~ <3

Dude they lost to the LEAFS last-last Saturday, it was so EMBARRASSING (not that the Devs hadn't had their share of embarrassing losses that week). But they're only one point out of eighth with two games to go. It's still a really tight race, and any ONE of those four teams can still be knocked out. I'm just angry I have a late assignment tonight and can't watch any of it (or the Mets).
And if the Rangers miss, oh well, I still have my OTHER losers to watch for the next six months. :V [/unfazed]

I've never had a naked dream, but my flying dreams were cool (I don't have them anymore). It wasn't so much flying as it was me "swimming" through the air. And the dreams I hate are the ones where I'm failing every class and graduation is like next week :[ Natural disaster dreams are awesome, even though they're always scary. I think I recall LeVar Burton being in one of my tornado dreams. He saved my life!

Makes me rage that nobody caught that mistake.

The sad part is? They do. Sometimes people will go over the copy editor's head at the last minute because they think their version looks "more right," despite the CE providing reasons why a particular mistake is a mistake.
