Oh man, it's the end of the year. *dreamy sigh* Looks like I'm gonna make it, folks! I'm still happy. It was damn near sunset when I left work today -- it might as well have been, for all the buildings -- but I still found happiness and peace in the half-lit sky as I walked through the park on the way to the train station. I love that park. ♥ And while looking at the sky, I noticed a giant clock on the side of a building that I'd never noticed before! It was on time, too, which made me wonder how long it had been there, and who keeps it in working condition. Or maybe it was stopped and pure chance brought me by at exactly 4:23. I suppose I'll check tomorrow morning, if I'm not so groggy that I forget.
And I'm going to have to winterize my bed soon -- it's not yet, I can't believe it -- but I'm okay with that. December 21 is rapidly approaching, which means the sun will slowly start to come back into my life.... *_*
Little!Jimmy inadvertently gave me a fantastic idea for Decemberween, just something to spruce up our desk a little bit. We're going to be working on this project over the next couple of weeks. Should be fun, if I can get all the materials together! That was pretty much all that happened at work: I cleaned up some of the loose papers on my desk, and the dance shot for Watashi no Mirai no Danna-Sama is finally posted, though, so I ran through that once before I pretended to toy with the website (there's nothing more I can do on that front, it seems). I got quite a bit of it wrong. XD
Made it to the library today and scanned Sunday's souvenir
photo (much clearer, yes? Ice's hair got a little lost thanks to the greenscreen, lmao (DERP DERP HTML FAIL, you should be able to see it now)). And now I'm home.
Oooh,
Decembertime cards! For those of you who've already requested and given me your mailing addresses, I bought cards for you today, and they'll be in the mail tomorrow afternoon (I meant to have them out today, but since I'd left my wallet at home yesterday....). If anyone else would like a Decembertime card, please let me know, and drop your address in a comment; posts are screened (posts that do not contain addresses will be unscreened). As for my penpals, if you'd like a Decembertime card instead of a letter -- WHICH I WILL SEND I SWEAR, I just gotta find decent stationery! All that I can find is stuff left over from Girl Scout camp XD -- that's cool, too, just say so. Let me know if you'd rather get a
winter card instead of a
holiday card, too; I don't wanna step on anyone's toes.
Hmmm, that's about all. I'm going to see if I can't do a little work on that Decemberween project. :3
