Two dreams.
GFDI, I hate the tooth dream. This time, I was nibbling on my fingernails and what I nibbled reflected in chips in my top front teeth (it's worth nothing that both my front teeth have little chips in the corners, so it's very likely that, subconsciously, I'm terrified of it happening again). They wore away so much that I was able to see my bottom teeth behind/under them. :| You know what I hate more than the tooth dream? I hate that dream!me is perfectly okay with the shit that happens to her. AUUUUGH.
Last Friday afternoon (I know it was Friday because I was still asleep at 4:00), I had a dream with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mykonos2 in it. We met, somehow, and she dropped by my place to visit (dream!her looked familiar, like maybe someone from my past I can't place). And I must be conscious of the fact that she lives "far," because when I offered to drive her back (!) and asked where she lived, she pointed to someplace near the Bronx-Westchester border (the real answer is "Europe") on a giant subway map I happened to have up on my wall behind the door. And it was funky, because there were all these extra lines (the 23 train?!), they were the wrong colors (yellow F and S trains), and they converged kinda like they do at Coney Island. In the end, I refused because I didn't want to pay for the bridge, but I woke up before it could be resolved.
There was a real reason I was posting now, but fuck if I remember what it was. But you know what's depressing? That it's August 20. It's damn near six in the morning -- I had to pee, okay? I had a lot of water before bed! -- and it's only twilight; the sun doesn't start rising for realsies for another twenty minutes; I got home a quarter after eight yesterday (I was buying things for karaoke~) and it was DARK. ... It's almost September, and that's frightening.
