Space-filling meme!

Sokka, Sokka, Sokka. It's hard to decide between him, Iroh, and Toph, but at the end of the day, it was always Sokka. The meat. The sarcasm. The cleverness and thinking-on-his-feet-ness (that I wish I had). The love and skill with architecture, math, and science. The ridiculously-grumpy-when-woken-up-before-it's-time-ness. Final Fantasy: Cid Highwind
See icon quote, because when he said that, I fell in love with him. Cid is badass, the end. Also, I have a weakness for oyaji (surprise) and Dragoons (sorry, Sabin).

Where does that stem from? The Goddesses. All the creation myth and timeline junk and how the pieces fit together are what I love about Zelda -- the first few pages of my ALttP manual are incredibly worn because of that -- and the Goddesses are right at the center of that, so I suppose that makes them my favorites (and if I had to choose a favorite Goddess? Nayru, because she
