What a day.... lol
Dec. 29th, 2004 11:46 pmI don't know if that's good or bad. It started out with me, Wendy, Mollie and Tracy watching John's Dog Wars movie. He basically green screened himself and his dogs and put it to Star Wars. The end result was... bizarre. Mollie had to leave about five minutes in and we didn't DARE watch it again (Wendy was writing, anyway... yay fanfics!), so when she got back from taking tour photos, we told her to take it home and watch it, but suck back two or three beers before doing so.
Eric, Tracy's boyfriend, fell asleep in some enclosed area in the bathroom, and we couldn't find him. When he finally woke up, over an hour later, Wendy fired him. It wouldn't have been bad if it were an hour where we didn't do anything (we've all fallen asleep in the sleigh...), but one show was coming out and another was coming in and... yeah.
Tour photos were stopped completely. Kathy, the director-type-person up there said it was too crowded today, and then to just scrap it altogether. Much to our relief! We all hated the damned things.
I don't know if I mentioned this, but about a month and a half ago, when we got the new backdrop, some little kid threw a tantrum and pulled on it... causing the velcro secures to snap and the wooden beam to crack him square in the head. His parents were so quick to apologize that day and said it was their fault, their fault, their fault... yeah. It must suddenly be our fault now cuz they're suing. I don't know. If a wooden beam cracked MY son in the head (and it really wasn't his/my fault), I'd pull a lawyer out of my pocket, not wait seven weeks.
I wrote stuff! And I wasn't cold! And I'm awake!
Phill's back in New York, Sandy didn't have her surgery... it's just an overall WEIRD sort of day.
Yesterday was 1000 days since I've been posting in a blog. Hope you've enjoyed it all, everyone. ^_^ Let's see what happens over the next 1000 days (which is nearly three years, my Goddesses!).
Edit: And I keep having dreams about... STONY BROOK, of all things. Damn my subconscious. >_<

The inventor of the LJ-cut is a GENIUS.
