Three hundred and ninety-nine. That's how many stitches I was short of completing the stupid thing. So now I have to buy another HALF POUND of yarn because I was twenty-one rows of nineteen stitches short. On top of that, someone up there is teasing me. My mom's got off from work all week because it's MidWinter break, so I *should* be able to access her car and not spend three hours trekking up Francis with the stupid 76. Not the case. Her car's on the blink, so I *do* have to spend three hours trekking up Francis with the stupid 76. And if I don't leave NOW, I'll have to deal with the Holy Cross and St. Francis Prep kids (who have school). Yippie.
In other news. Wenda's about finished. I might have to skip out to Michael's and get another bottle of paintfor touch-ups, but for all intents and purposes, she's done. YAY! I'm gonna have fun on Halloween (eight months away? Meh. At least I'm ready NOW and won't spend the night before freaking out because I didn't have a scabbard yet). Perhaps I'll post a picture, but for the most part I want to hear everyone burst out laughing when they see me. ^_^ I'm a sucker for praise that way.
Alex is making me finish Super Mario RPG. :::rolls eyes::: And he's giving me lots of help (with his Bible. XD Nerd. I've never written that much about Zelda.) because I just passed a lot of special thingies that make the game easier. Apparently, you can time block, too. o_o;; But yeah. I don't know, I'm not the type to go exploring. I just do what I'm supposed to. But if these things are really supposed to help me so much, why aren't they on the way? Like, if I'm supposed to go to Yo'ster Isle, why doesn't the little dot path automatically go there? And why aren't there signs like:
"This way
<- Bomb Shop
v Lake of Ill Omen" (yay LttP)
And the Ice Rod? I mean, it was in a cave hidden with a bombable rock, and it was a pain to get to, but they told you exactly where it was: Along the east side of Lake Hylia. And there's only one bit of land along the east side of Lake Hylia. But hugging the right wall in Nimbus Land to get the fertilizer? Who DOES that?
But wow, that fight with Culex was damned easy. Long and tedious, but easy. Yay for invincible Peach.
