Playing some more FFX tonight.... somehow my older brother -- David -- got locked out of the house and was ringing the bell. Being the only one awake, I had to answer. Normally, this wouldn't have been such a big deal, but I'd JUST gotten to the big cutscene where the party crashes Yuna's wedding.
I flew back up the stairs and into my room, sliding across the floor in my room like a penguin. When David got upstairs after me -- my room's right across from the top of the stairs, and I'd left the door open -- he peeked in to see what I was playing. Turns out he really liked FFX and hasn't played it in a while... so we started discussing it. Rikku was in Overdrive at the time (and she still is), and I asked him what I should Mix.... I didn't wanna use it in the fight against.... oh crap, I forgot its name already. The big wyrm thing that you fight from the top of the airship. ... cuz I tried Mixing two grenade bombs together, and an arrow was pointing at the wyrm, which was great, but to everyone in my party as well. I didn't want them to get hurt.... so Rikku stayed in Overdrive and I just had her use Al Bhed potions every turn. And thank Yevon for them. >.> I mean, uh....
(Poor Wakka.....)
But then Auron took a turn and David mentioned how much he liked Auron because he just kicks the SHIT out of everything and I was like "HELL YEAH!" cuz I like Auron, too. And Wakka... And Rikku (she's so spunky and cute!) and... well, everyone but Tidus. I HATE him. >_<# Yeah. But it was cool that we could talk about something like that for a couple of minutes. He watched me play. AWESOME. That hasn't happened to me or with me, at home at least, in a good... seven or eight years. And not on a normal basis in at least twelve, thirteen?
It was nice.
Day One of the Drawing Challenge has come and gone, and I'm no closer to attaining my goal. I wanna throw in the towel. Damn competitive nature....
And because she's the most specialest person ever and my bestestestESTest friend in the whole wide universe, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHAINA. I love you heaps.
