A game. Well, not so much a game, but something to feed your random trivia bank (and who doesn't love to do that?):
Go to Wikipedia. View three random articles. Copy their titles into their own sets of quotation marks. Paste these three quotes into a Google search. Click "I'm feeling lucky." If the resulting page is pornographic in nature, then get three new articles. If it is not, then read it in its entirety and reflect upon it for five minutes. Spend an additional five minutes writing or drawing something inspired by this reflection.
You don't have to share what you got, but you just may learn something. I learned that if you enter "Pokerwork" into Google and click "I'm Feeling Lucky" you do NOT get pr0n. In fact, it goes right back to the Wiki page. XD One of my other articles did that, too. The third was in German.
I went to Stony Brook yesterday. I have to write that petition letter -- I just don't know how to START it, you know? -- and I was told to be as detailed as possible, which means I'm going to cry, reliving the tragic events of two years ago. I mean, I recounted the whole story to my mom and she couldn't believe all the crap that I went through with cheerleading. She knew something was wrong. She could see it on me, and she always wondered why I never invited her to a game.... haha. Looking back now, it's all so funny and so very stupid, but then, oh gosh, it all meant the world to me.
I wrote something last night about it, and it turned out to be six notebook (three typewritten) pages long. It's the basis for my letter (NEVER tell a writer to be detailed.... lol), and maybe I'll stick it up here. Not sure yet. It's still quite unrefined.
Today's just gonna be more gaming. Wheeee.
