So yesterday, I woke up around eight to watch cartoons. I tried to go back to sleep at eight-thirty, but couldn't because of the noise in my house. I know I dozed because I remember having the beginnings of a dream, but I wasn't fully asleep. Nine o'clock, I was still awake, and there was still noise, so I turned on the fan to drown it out, which worked, sort of. I managed to roll over and get a bit more sleep because the alarm woke me for work at ten.

I awoke with a stuffy nose. ONE HOUR! I must be allergic to fans because I can't have them on and not get congested. Sigh. There's got to be something else I can use to drown out noise.

But something else about yesterday morning: the sun came back! It was like, WHOA. BRIGHT. XD Very welcome. Honestly, when I came back to my bedroom from the shower, the bright spots on the floor confused me because the lamp wasn't on... and lamps don't leave spots, anyway. It really did take me a second to figure it out. I chalk it up to congestion and exhaustion.

I went to work sneezing and sniffling. Karen said I looked like crap and almost sent me home straight off the bat, but I told her that I was fine and it happened often... which it does. I can't wait until the winter! >.o Somehow I made it through the day. It was my first Saturday working in a mall, and I never realized how crowded the place gets. I think someone actually stole the DVD we had playing, in the middle of the madness of moving shelves around.

We move shelves every day. I think it's the most ridiculous and unnecessary thing EVER. It supposedly keeps the merch looking "fresh", Karen said. >.o What a load of crap.

Nothing special really happens, now that I think about it. Karen did an excellent job on the October calendar, never mind that October is already halfway over, but still. She was also all, "You know you have to dress up on Halloween, right?" :D "You told me that my first day. Remember, I got all excited?" "Oh yeah." Turns out I CAN be Cid -- so I will be -- because he doesn't have a store. Can't be any character that has a store: Disney, American Girls, etc. I suppose GameStop across the street or EB down the hall doesn't count. So yay. I have to buy gloves, and possibly a weapon, or I'll just use the mop we have in the back. XD

I also got a large billboard for my room. Karen was changing decorations and asked me to kill the popup of Chi Chai Monchan and Pandapple. I did so with glee, but when it came time for Chococat, I saved him from an untimely death and brought him home. He's currently on my east wall, taped over my old posters. ^_^ My first Chococat thing from work.

I noticed yesterday we have Chococat shower caps. :::bites lower lip!::: I also bought some of that milk candy stuff.... it's pretty good. Don't know whether it's my diminished sense of taste at work, but it kind of has a hint of coconut to it. There were only ten or so in the package; they're long gone. :3

My coloring still isn't done, but I'm getting there..... I learned how to use the pricing gun.... I need a GOOD shoulder rub. They were on fire yesterday.

I think I'm gonna take a nap. I love lazy days.

I'm in the Jan square. (I WOULD be Jan.) Warky's Cindy. We need everyone else! )

Mommy got me soup and a stove! ^_^ Speaking of mommies, because of [livejournal.com profile] aurora_ookami, I'm child number 603 on [livejournal.com profile] kaasan. She was 600, and three of her other friends were 599, 601 and 602. We're a close family. ^_^
