Update. I don't know if I said this, but I'm not angry and I should be. Yet, I've gotten advice from two people, one who knows what's going on and the other who just knows that I'm sad, that if I'm not upset, and over my shock (which I am, I think. It's been two days), then maybe I'm not supposed to be upset. Maybe this is something I can deal with.
Maybe they're right.
I'm not out of the woods yet, but the canopy is starting to thin out, I think...
Onto happier things.
I spent today with Sandy. We didn't do very much, but I caught her on the train and we went for sushi straight away. We had a few rolls each (my Boston roll was mostly lettuce ;-;) and some soup. She got the entire bill, even though she didn't have to... lol. We walked back to her place (from freakin' Quentin Rd.), stopping at the Staples along the way. I almost picked up some parchment, but put it back before I spent my money needlessly, although I did get clicky-eraser refills. I LOVE THAT ERASER. It's perfect; it'll erase anything. Sandy got résumé paper for (guess what) her résumé and also stencils for her scrapbook. She's scrapbooking her adventures in Europe.
I wish I could travel.... sigh. I have a list of countries I'd like to visit.
When we got back, we watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off because it's awesome, then took a snack break. Once intermission was done, we went for Disney's Sleeping Beauty and made fun of it the ENTIRE TIME. It gets cool points, though, because Maleficent actually says "hell" and there's red blood and death and the animation is BRILLIANT. It's pretty cool. Of course, we were watching the DVD, so there were extras to play with at the end, like the "Which Princess Are You?" quiz -- I was Belle, Sandy was Ariel -- and the Rescue Aurora Adventure Game, which ended in Prince Phillip's death -- yes, death -- if you weren't careful (not like it was a hard game, anyway). Sandy and I laughed over his name.
I told Sandy how the gargoyles used to scare me when I was a kid because the camera shook on them. XD
After the movies and the games, Sandy very graciously gave me a lift to Bay Pkwy so I didn't have to worry about transferring trains and so I could sleep. SLEEP I DID. I thought about things, too, but it's a long way from home, so I had a chance to do both.
I've been wasting time online and wishing I had more sushi since. That squid was fscking GOOD, man. At least I got the rest of the Flipz.
