Got paid today. ^_^ Another $35 in the cosplay fund; I have enough to register for two conventions now, whee! More importantly, $86 in the move-out fun. YAY.

Met up with Lynda today. We ate lunch and she decided she wanted to see Goblet of Fire tonight. I had no complaints. We went to the theatre to buy the tickets because there was no online purchasing (for Douglaston OR Fresh Meadows, so we opted for Douglaston because it was closer), and then skipped over to Fabric Bonanza, making a pit stop at the bank, where Lynda cashed my check. LOVE.

Armed with loads of cash, we went into Fabric Bonanza. They're having a huge sale because they're closing the store on New Year's Eve, cry. So.... we decided to run amok. No yarn that I could have bough (grrr), but I picked up a book that'll teach me all sorts of new things (like cable knitting... oooooh) and has a sweater pattern. I'll have my Weasley sweater yet! I also got black velcro squares for Ed's shorts so they don't look as horrible anymore, yay. Lynda picked up some spray paint, some tools and five yards of green broadcloth because part of her holiday present to me is to totally remake my Link costume. ^_^ In two weeks, if our schedules coincide, we should have fun with that.

Lynda used to work at Fabric Bonanza, so she asked the cashier to "be nice" to her. She was very nice; all our stuff should have cost at LEAST forty dollars and we walked out of the store paying only $6.25 for the lot of it. I asked Lynda if I owed her anything, and she said no. XD SWEET.

Wish we got more stuff......

Anyway, back home and to kill time before we started dinner, Lynda broke out her Zelda cartoons DVD. :3 The whole series. That I don't have. Hint. >.>; We watched a couple of episodes (Lynda was about ready to pass out from how awful it was) and started on our spaghetti. We hadn't finished it by the time Lynda's parents came home, so they complained as usual. >.o! Not too long after dinner, we stole the car again and went for the movie.

Not much else to say on the movie except that this time I didn't cry. XD Almost, but not quite. However, before the movie began, I was knitting away at my Gryffindor scarf and the woman sitting next to me asked about it. I told her that I made it and the one I was wearing, and she asked me if I sold them. >.>;; Yes? So I gave her my contact info and she said that she would e-mail me. :O BUSINESS. I need to make a pile of these things and keep them in stock, lol. A couple of girls in front of me and Lynda on the line seemed interested, too. Perhaps I should also get business cards!

Lynda gave me a ride home, and here I am. I'm beat, and I have work in the morning, so I'll probably be in bed before long. Yippie. Night!
