I didn't want to post this as a comment. )

Ian, I'm finishing this stupid thing tonight... er, this morning... whatever. I don't care how long I have to stay awake to do it; consider it done. I had a fiasco where a hundred and thirty feet of yarn decided to knot itself. That was a fun hour of untangling. X_X

And I crashed off of my caffeine/sugar/drugs, too. XD

:O There's a transit strike. Good thing I don't have work today, but what about Wednesday?!

Thanks for the wishes of good luck, everyone; I really appreciate them. Hopefully, this strike does not last very long and I can get back to my normal routine soon. Oddly enough, my father has graciously offered to drive me to and pick me up from work every day. My only reaction to this is "...HUH?!?!?!" What happened to three nights ago when he'd sooner see me quit?!

Spent today with Lynda. Her mommy was baking so the house smelled wonderful, but aside of ONE chocolate cheesecake muffin-thing (which was divine), I didn't get to touch a bit of it. T_T We had lunch and went to JoAnn's in Westbury to pick up the dressform that Lynda ordered. It's the JoAnn's near you, Olua, lol, and it's a LOOOONG way from me. X_X

I knit.

Lynda's car is very pretty and very toasty-oasty-oasty warm. It heats up in an instant and STAYS warm. <3

When we got back home, Lynda played a wee bit of FF7 -- she's just started it, you see. She's not even out of Midgar yet -- and then a few hours of the InuYasha RPG (Secret of the Cursed Mask), with dinner in between. She said InuRPG was cheesy, but she played that heaps longer than FF7, so I think she really likes it and just doesn't want me to know. :x Oops. Forgot she reads this journal. XD Play FF7, Lynda. It's really good; I promise.

So yeah. I've got work. I'm happy, because now I won't lose any money, but sad that I have to wake up at five-thirty tomorrow morning. Yuck. Good thing I'm a bit sleepy now; I'll knit another stripe or so before bed.

(This strike had better not last long. I can't stand my father's driving.)

Note to self: update dictionary through 503.
