Schedule, December 25-31

So the strike is over. I only have to put up with my dad's driving ONCE tomorrow. XD But yay, I can get places on my own again and Fernando can come back to work (I feel really bad for him that he's had to miss two days and couldn't make them up in Times Square).
I was Cinderella today. "Do the plushies, Cinderelly, fix the bag wall, Cinderelly, clean the bathroom, Cinderelly."
Cleaning the bathroom was not the dreaded chore at work like it is at home. I'm going to assume it's because we don't shower/shave/brush teeth/brush hair at work, and therefore it has no reason to be as gross. It took me an hour, though. o_o; I wonder how that happened? I wasn't scrubbing the toilet THAT much. XD
Nothing else special today except that I actually saw someone get hit by a car on Queens Blvd. XD!!! I laugh because a) it's Queens Blvd. (affectionately nicknamed the "Boulevard of Death" because MANY pedestrians have been struck and killed crossing it) and b) the guy was okay. Someone was making a left turn to go southbound on Queens Blvd., at the same time a couple was crossing the street. Both had the green, but obviously, the couple -- pedestrians as they were -- had the right-of-way. The driver only nudged the guy slightly, but it was forceful enough that the guy was forced up onto the hood of his car, and quick thinking got his girlfriend out of the way. So no one was hurt (at least, I didn't see anyone get hurt, but I bet the dude kicked the driver's ass because he actually opened the car door XD) and I saw something cool.
The driver, by the way, had Jersey plates on his car. Damn you, Jersey! :::shakes fist::: LEARN TO DRIVE.
I got a big chocolatey gift basket from Phill today, and the rest of my family got one as well. I knew we were getting that, but DAMN, I had no idea they'd be that big.
