Official pictures of Arran, Sibella and Dayne (both li'l and grown) have been posted. Along with a cutesy A/M moment. <3_<3 Must make plushies. That squeak. I absolutely squealed and fangirled, and I'm not ashamed to admit this. I'm not ashamed to admit, either, how pathetic I am. XD!!
I got a four percent raise at work! Sure, it only amounts to twenty-eight cents, but I'd rather have it than not. It's retroactive to the seventh, so adjustments *should* appear on my next check. Fernando only got three percent. Not surprising considering Karen Flores does the evaluations and she LOOOOVES me. I have to admit, it felt like report card day in grade school all over again: ESNU. XD More like O.W.L.s because the highest grade was Outstanding and the second was Exceeds Expectations, so that was a very WEIRD parallel. I got mostly Os with some Es. See, everyone? I TOTLI (Sam!) belong in Ravenclaw.
Phill also appeared out of nowhere. I was giving out trinkets to some girls when I stepped backwards to put them away and stepped on his shoe. I started to apologize, but then I smacked him in the chest for being retarded and sneaking up behind me. So he mentioned how he went to get new glasses and fitted for contacts, cuz he could... before offering for me. Contacts?! *_* So now I've got trial lenses -- THAT I DIDN'T LOSE -- in a freaky vertical case. Whatever. I'm just happy that when I'm Kitty this weekend, I won't have to fuss with balloon string. YAY lenses. YAY COSPLAY.
(It was interesting trying to explain to the doctor why I wanted lenses when my vision was so good. In all honesty, I'm not that bad; normal people will try on my glasses and ask what they do because they won't see any changes. My prescription is only very slight; I'm 20/25ish in my left eye, but I have astigmatism in my right eye. So, even though I could read tiny letters with one eye, all I saw was a big blurry mess for the large letters in the other. XD But yes, I had to explain about the Kitty costume and the large head and not being able to fix my glasses to see the children. "I'm in costume quite often," I said. :3)
Tomorrow I see Lynda. I hope. She's been scatterbrained from lack of sleep, poor thing, and forgot to mention that I'd be stopping by. Of course, with her mother, that's a big deal. But if not, I'm sure I can make time for her AND SANDY, OMFG, next week. I'll just... knit. Or chill with Lu instead. After the chores, of course. Yay. Love workin' on my days off. Sigh.
( And I thought this was amusing )
