Schedule update
Jan. 24th, 2006 12:06 amHuangy called me tonight and asked if I could switch Wednesday and Friday with Eka, because she asked for Friday off and didn't get it, so I happily agreed. Wednesday is now an off day and Friday I work 1-8. 'Kay? 'Kay.
Today was also an off day and rainy. :::makes a yuck face::: But I had errands to run, so. First stop, thrift store, for more cosplay goodies. Dropped thirteen dollars there, but didn't find everything I needed. D: Walked -- in the rain, remember -- two train stops to the bank, and stopped by Michael's, too, since it was there. Picked up a cookbook. *_* It's so informative: it tells the difference between and shows pictures of different kitchen utensils and pots and sugars, flours, cheeses.... I so desperately want to learn to cook but I'm terrified of screwing up. Took the train and the bus to Bayside, and bought six skeins of yarn. Six. That's almost three pounds. I won't even USE all of it right away; the gold and blue are going to be sitting around for a long time (aww, gold and blue. 221!).
I'm swimming in scarves. Augh. I will be SO happy when all this is over, even though one is for me. Purple and purple. ^_^;;
Got home, ate, knitted, took a nap, chatted.... and you know what? I think I'm gonna play a game now.
