Lynda's Seder
Apr. 13th, 2006 09:48 pmI drank too much. Five glasses of wine. Yeah, I know there are supposed to be four. Yeah, I know I could have opted for grape juice, but I had no excuse not to drink, and so I did. I feel no side effects, other than the slight tipsiness from not eating much prior and the headache I've got now. I've learned I can have more than five glasses of wine, but would it be worth it against a headache?
Anyway, it was fun. I love Passover, even though tonight's was only the second seder I've been to (Shaina... was it five years ago? At least... possibly more). Lynda and I bummed a bit, played with Allison's bird, Jellybean (apparently, she went somewhere and didn't wanna take her along). We made chocolate-covered strawberries and picked at turkey skin... the turkey was fantastic.
Five o'clock was seder-time. There were hand puppets involved, and lots of food. I love the food. I'm a weirdo because I like gefilte fish. And horseradish.
And the five glasses of wine. Wheeeeeee! I was only slightly giggly. After dinner -- which seemed to go on forever, but that's okay! -- Lynda and I retreated to her room to finish watching a couple of episodes of FMA... the beginning ones, although she DID make me watch my least favorite and I bawled again.
I'm sorry if I'm very sloppy tonight. I DO still have that headache.
I'm gonna try and write or game it off now. Yay.
