I just realized I TOTALLY forgot to tell my parents where I'm going tomorrowday. o_o! I think I'll leave them a nice little note in the morning. ^_^; A few things left to do: touch-ups for Cid and Link, Secret Costume #1 still needs some work X_X but Secret Costume #2's completely done! Spending tomorrowday in Uniondale. Katie needs help, spending the night at Olua's. Baltimore tomorrow morning.

It's very hot out. Power is being cut back; my lamp is dim and my air conditioner isn't up to scratch (well, I'm not scratching, so it's working as much as I need it to). It needs to rain. Cold showers, I learned, can be very refreshing in the right context, and lead to ficfic fodder (I'll tell you later, Olua). WHY, though, can I not think of anything for my OWN story? I've been staring at a post for the past four weeks all "...duh..." about it. RAWR. I blame the heat. But yes, cold showers can be fun (I admit, I took a hot one before turning the temperature down. I needed to get clean and cold water doesn't cut it. It won't clean dishes; it won't clean people).

Don't get too excited over that, Phill. I'm not a convert.

The heat is causing my brain to leak from my ears because I've started to get silly. Time to finish packing and try to sleep. My hair needs to be straightened in the morning, among other things. Good night, and I'll talk to you all (if not at Otakon) on Wednesday. Gimme some recovery time. ^_^;
