Phill got me a Twilight Princess skin for it yesterday and I couldn't stop cooing over and hugging my little obsolete console. ... :::draws Triforces all over her SNES with a Sharpie::: :D! Phill was mightily confused that a small, ten-dollar gift could make so happy when sometimes, I scold him for getting me nicer, more expensive things. I don't understand how he doesn't understand by now that I'm atypical everything. XD (Ian, probably no new stuff this month; I'm working on a character and enemy list. It's got the approximate order in which the baddies are encountered, how to kill them and how they kill you. The characters have got brief descriptions and everyone's got a screenshot. I only have to backtrack through the Light World, and I'll do it as I go in the Dark World, which is where I am now. I might even finish it tonight, and START the Palace of Darkness, but I won't finish it by month's end. Just to let you know what's going on.)
We kicked our goal's ass today! Huangy and Karla had made $1550 by the time I showed up, we'd done $3400 when Evie showed up (she wanted $2500), and $4650 by the time I left (that's a little less than four hundred dollars' worth of sales per hour). Goal was $4000. They might still be at the store -- I should have called -- because it only closed an hour ago, but I'll find out the final number tomorrow. Electronics sale = WIN! Still, say what you want about Halloween, but Black Friday is the devil's day, of this I am certain.
(For my non-American friends, when does your wintertime season start? Does it have an unofficial day that changes or is it something like December 1 or ... what? Yay, uneducation!)
I like to eat turkey and take a nap! Z_Z Stupid turkey's kicked my ass the past two days. I don't think I should take any of it to work, as I'd like to remain alert.... Thanksgiving dinner was very yummy, and a smaller affair than usual. Matt had work, so it was just me, my parents and David. Noel hung around, too. XD :::pets Noel:::
Olua, where the fuck are you? F'rl, now. I look forward to talking to you the whole weekend because I open and... nothing. A tree better have hit all the lines in your stupid neighborhood or something. XD
