Well, work was nothing special on Thursday, just lots of standing around (with everyone gathered making fun of me). We did play with the pop-up playhouse we've got, though. After work, Phill came by to pick me up and we attempted to go shopping. I didn't find what I needed, and neither did he. I hate shopping so much. -_-;

We went to Boulder Creek again to eat, because I hadn't taken a break (what was I doing all day?), and we had our regular waitress. It's amazing how we've gotten the same people each of the last three times we've gone. Anyway, dinner was good. I must have been really hungry because I finished my meal, which I NEVER do. We had at least three mugs of soda, too.

I made fun of his playing Twilight Princess when we got home. He's in the Lakebed Temple now. I pray for the safety of my controller. He's past the miniboss, at least, which means it's just more running around until he can find the big key and the boss. Watching him fight the boss should prove amusing.

Yesterday, nothing special happened at Sanrio.

Holy crap, LJ's autosaving again! YAY!

I was only there for six hours, but I went to the bank and fixed stuff and was generally bored. Traffic has slowed to almost a standstill, and I will not understand how our hours aren't getting cut; we have midshifts every day because Karla and Nicole are off from school, and they need to be scheduled in. Now we've got four people with five days (me, Wendy, Evie, and Diane), two people with four days (Karla and Nicole), and one with two or three (Lijuan). Between the associates, that's twenty or twenty-one shifts over seven days, but someone still has to show up from Times Square three times a week (and I'm making more hours than Wendy. Just one or two, but still!). It's... ridiculous. And I know Evie really wants to be store manager, but she's making us slightly unhappy and confused in the process, and while we'll push for her because she's awesome, something's not right. Wendy and I keep trying to talk some sense into her, but she seems as though she doesn't want to listen to us. D:

Enough of that. GameStop. XD!!

So, yesterday was my third day at GameStop, BUT the first day that I actually did stuff. Instead of standing around and putting the games away, doing customer service -- I WANT A BADGE, PLEASE -- I spent the first hour a) trying to clock in, and then when the person trying to help me realized that I'd never touched the computer at all before and therefore couldn't clock in, b) filling out my paperwork. FINALLY. I've got a lot of stuff to do on Monday as a result, but since it starts early, I might be able to finish it all early. Anyway, so I filled out my paperwork and wasted an hour and a half doing that. Yay. Eight o'clock. I was put to work checking SKUs on the DS games, and while I was there, I alphabetized them as well. It was close to closing when I finished, so it was no problem. I was often distracted by people playing the Twilight demo (since the Wii is RIGHT next to the DS games), so I spent some time talking to them, too. At least five people gave it a go.

I alphabetized the DS and Wii games by myself, straightened the PC games, and then went to work on the PS2 wall with Keoma. That wasn't fun at all, and we finished just at eleven. D:

My dad picked me up, and I was very surprised because it was so late and he offered. I'd forgotten to ask (I hate asking), so I figured I'd just get home by myself at two in the morning. Nope, I got home just before midnight. :D

Off to Sanrio today, for one of the oddest midshifts ever!

Sun 1/7: 1:30-8:30
Mon 1/8: OFF (doctor's appointment at Queens Gen at 9 AM, running errands after that)
Tue 1/9: 10:00-5:00
Wed 1/10: 10:00-5:00
Thu 1/11: 1:00-8:00
Fri 1/12: OFF
Sat 1/13: 2:00-9:00 (1950s-themed party, whee!)

Notice I don't work at GameStop this week; none of the GAs do. We don't work on inventory day, either! I do NOT mind! Monday and Friday are NOT up for grabs yet; I have to see what goes down with other things first. ^_^!
