I did almost no work today. :D
Mar. 7th, 2007 02:29 amI slept most of the day, for whatever reason. It was nice and refreshing, I guess.
I'm starving. I'll probably have a big dinner tomorrow.
I worked on the HLI dictionaries a little bit. Most of the Parts of Speech list is done and HTMLized; I've got about two hundred words left to sort. I can't wait until that nasty project is done, and I'm a bit sarcastic about that, since I'll have EIGHT files to update and maintain then.
I do need to catch up on the stupid ALttP stuff. >_<# I've been slacking and I know it, and even though I know it, I make no effort to work on it. You'd think that I'd've been inspired when I proved myself right last month....
I did a little more family-hunting and found the Cary family as it was in 1880 (yay for the Census!). Unsurprisingly, it was a large family: Grampa Carter was the third of ten. Ten at the moment, because the youngest was only a year old (I also suspect a lost child or two, as most of the children were quite close in age, except for a six-year gap between Grampa Carter and Aunt Jane. Or probably, y'know, that pesky little tiff that broke out across the country, now that I think about it). My great-great-grandparents, apparently, were still quite capable of spawning. Many questions remain (most notably, the ones regarding slavery). I'm printing the information tomorrow -- I open with Wendy -- and I'm drafting a tree. *_* COLORING! ♥ (I'll probably get to write a little, too. I love Wendy. She SO doesn't care.)
I have to be up again in five hours. I'm not looking forward to the rest of the week. >.># By the way, here it is:
Wed 3/7: 10:00-5:00; 6:00-10:00
Thu 3/8: 12:00-4:00
Fri 3/9: 1:00-8:00
Sat 3/10: 3:00-10:00 (I can't be angry at that, because technically, Sunday was a day off.)
OH AND LAWRENCE WAS NICE ENOUGH TO DRAFT NEXT WEEK'S SCHEDULE. Apparently, I'm not supposed to have a life or a second job. It's only GameStop, and I have a HUGE bone to pick, too, so I'm not posting it yet. But WTF, three days early? EW. AND STOP E-MAILING ME, LAWRENCE. I don't care about your stupid reports; none of them have any effect on me, nor I on them. The least you could do is put them together in one e-mail so I'm not pestered every twenty minutes by something else you have to say. And for the love of Nayru, proofread! Check your grammar! "u" is not permissible in work e-mails, and nor are single-sentence paragraphs with THREE breaks in between! ... For that, I should break dress code. Not like anyone follows it, anyway. Sigh.
