I got a new cell phone yestertoday, with a screen and everything! I can make and receive calls now and even text! (But not too much, okay?) No other bells and whistles, as all I really need in a cell phone is a dial tone. If you all would be so kind and leave me your phone numbers in an e-mail or IM (or comment, because this post is screened), I'd greatly appreciate it. :D
So Happy Day After St. Patrick's Day. Whoo!
I went to Barnes & Noble and picked up a copy of Aesop's Fables, along with a copy of Candide. Candide was one of the VERY few books I read in high school, and on the shorter list of books I read in high school that I enjoyed (the other book on that list is Macbeth). Candide's just awesome. Didn't do much else, really. Mint ice cream at Cold Stone isn't so great. Dictionary's coming along. Stuff.
Also, in the past week, I've learned that four of my friends are now happy parents of three children: on the 17th of February, Mel and Dan welcomed Julian Theodore, last Saturday, Shaina had Jayson ... Nicholas, I think was his middle name, and Lysandra was in labor as of 6:00 AM yesterday. I haven't received and update from Phill, but I'm sure I will over the next few hours. I believe she was having a girl. From what I've heard, though, everyone's doing well. Mel even sent me pictures. ♥ (Funnily enough, Phill and I were listening to comedians on XM radio today. John Leguizamo's description of childbirth left me slightly queasy. XD No thanks.)
Bedtime now. I'm oddly exhausted.
