Okay, so work wasn't bad. Opened with Anthony, but we didn't sell anything ALL DAY. I ended up with about $225 in my name. D: Michelle screwed up the schedule and put me in on Wednesday again, but then switched it to Saturday. And I close THE ENTIRE WEEK WTF.
Mon 9/3: OFF (from school, too! LABOR DAY!)
Tue 9/4: 4:00-10:00
Wed 9/5: OFF (class 10-4ish)
Thu 9/6: 4:00-10:00
Fri 9/7: 4:00-10:00
Sat 9/8: 4:00-10:00
Sun 9/9: OFF
So.... that looks really shitty.
Anyway, after work, I went back to QCC to pick up my books for MEMW. I started reading the quiz material immediately (I TOTALLY got some of the stuff mixed up on the geography quiz yesterday. I always dreaded Europe when playing Carmen Sandiego. I'm very ashamed to admit this), and ... what the fuck, I just kept reading. I couldn't put the book down when I got off the bus, and read as I walked home.
HISTORY. ME!
Not that I'll remember or understand anything, because we haven't learned it yet -- augh, I wonder what the quiz will be like -- but yeah. I plan to keep reading, since I'm so uninspired to write. It'll be something to do on the train ride to Brooklyn, at least.
Later!
