So in MEMW this morning, we went over the paper assignment.
lroy, I LOLed when the professor mentioned the same nipples line that you left in response to my last post. So it doesn't look so bad. Henry V might be one of the movies I choose. I mean, I understood the video version of The Merchant of Venice enough to scrape a ninety on a midterm in high school, so maybe luck will be on my side again (sadly, no luck with my wallet yet)? Although, I'm not sure I'll be able to NOT think "LAWL Prof. Lockhart." There's no set due date yet, and
buboniclou, we're supposed to answer both questions w/r/t both movies as best as possible. Not all of them will cover everything, but we should compare and contrast, etc., as much as we can. (I might just get all of them, and pick whichever two keep my attention the best.)
I got an eighty (seventy-nine and three-quarters, more accurately) on my midterm, though! WOOHOO! I thought I'd screwed up the identifications, but that's where I got most of my points, 26 3/4 of 30. I wanna know WTF I'm missing that I lost a quarter-point twice. Either way, I didn't study nearly as much as I could have, so maybe if I find time in the next two weeks -- fucking Thanksgiving and Black Weekend and shit -- I'll crack open my books.
I continue to feel old in my American history class. Talking about the '50s now, Prof. Van Ells mentioned the baby boom. "Maybe your parents were born during this time," he said. Everyone was staring like "WTF no." Meanwhile, my mother was a boomer, and my dad remembers when WWII ENDED, WTF. After the Berlin Wall nonsense on Monday, I feel like I need a goddamned cane or a walker or some shit. Where're my dentures, sonnyboy?!
I have a newfound love for HM:FoMT. The game has been a guilty pleasure for four years now (I ♥ YOU
mosno_kame), but I neglected it for music and writing and other games. I'm coming back to it now. Summer of Year Three, got the wife and the kid, some house upgrades, most of my animals have won shit, will look for cursed tools in the winter, blah blah blah. I'm doing tons better than my first couple gos around. [/nerd]
I have about 2/3 of a (1.5L) bottle of Calpis left. I'm pretty sure there's crack in it.
Michelle bothered me today. I really wanna punch that bitch in the throat. Fucking on my nerves ALL THE TIME.
And because it would suck to leave on that note, I'm going back to my game now. :D
