OMG FINALS

Two finals today and then I'm done with the semester, so I can CLEAN tomorrow! ♥

I don't know who's watched 312 yet, but you must so I can start using my new icon (it's not terribly spoilery -- in fact, if you think for two seconds, it's NOT -- but, you know. Some people get angry. Not pointing fingers, just generalizing, I swear)! :O

Edit: Why have I never thought of this before? So, the Avatar is decided by which little kid can remember which toys he had because they were his in a past life, yes? So he can remember that but he still has to be taught the other three styles of bending? You'd think that he'd remember the IMPORTANT shit like that, not "HAY I LIEK THIS BALL N CUP. HAHA BALL." Shut up, I know there wouldn't be a show if that were the case. I'm just sayin'.

It's oooover, it's oooover! Venus says it's over! It's oooover, it's oooover! Everyone failed 'cept me! :::looks at MEMW grade::: Aw, crap. :/

No, I don't actually have my grades yet, BUT! The semester IS over. And, yay! While MEMW did bottom out, I feel on top of the world because today was my easy day. I took my time with my macro final and RAWKED my history final.

Macro scared me a bit. The stuff I didn't quite get from the third exam was on there, so I'm gonna lose a couple of points, but it's curved and I've got an A as it is, so I think I'll be okay (and it's curved). I'm a little nervous; I feel kinda borderline even though my last two tests came back with A's on them. Still... third exam shit. :/

History, I breezed through the short answers and wrote a marvelous essay on advancements in civil rights since the end of the Civil War. Write about four civil rights laws? No problem! Let's go with the Civil Rights Amendments (I treated them as one law, since they were all like "WE COME AT ONCE!"), the Nineteenth Amendment, Brown v. Bd of Ed, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Citizenship, voting rights, women, non-whites, Jim Crow, I've got the whole spectrum covered. Boo and yah.

I also got a ten on my paper! I've got 76.5 points of 80, which means I'd need at least a 17.5 on the final to get an A (I love it when professors outline the grade specifically like that!). If I did, it'd be my LOWEST grade of the semester. I believe my fate is sealed. The brilliant part is, soc notwithstanding, because I don't know WHAT is going on there, even if I FAIL MEMW completely and totally, my average is still pretty good. Two A's and an F make a 2.67. That's a B-fucking-minus. GO. ME.

I'd go back to sleep, but I'm juiced! I'm gonna hang out with Lynda -- she's stuck in NY for the mo -- for a couple of hours. Yay!
