Dindammit!

Now I remember (probably) why I stopped playing Majora's Mask. Halfway through Snowhead just now, I paused, leaned forward to get up, and accidentally hit a button on the Wii.

See, the shitty part is that it doesn't matter which button I hit -- Power, Reset or Eject -- because any one of them would have stopped my game. Without playing the Song of Time. So everything that I just did -- getting the Rock Sirloin on the first try, getting the Elder out of his ice prison on the first try, a couple of Heart Pieces -- yeah, all gone.

No wonder no one likes this game. XD

(And I totally wrote like, three hundred words at work today. It felt awesome!)

Progress post #2

And still no pictures. ._. If there were someone to take a picture of me, or if I had a full-length mirror, this would be tons easier. Instead, you'll have to settle for, um, nothing.

So there's good news! The dress bit is mostly complete AND it fits! I'm actually wearing it right now. :3 It's pretty tight up top, which is good; even without straps I won't have to worry about it falling, which, even though I'll be fully clothed underneath, is one of my fears. Since I can stay up pretty late tonight, I'm gonna start the shirt pattern AFTER I BEAT SNOWHEAD. GRRRR.

There's bad news, too, unfortunately. The fit isn't quite right in the back (likely due to my enormous backside). I could take it in a little on the sides, or I could rip out HALF THE ZIPPER (I used the whole thing because I didn't want to ruin it by cutting it wrong so I need help please!) and stitch up the back that way. It probably still wouldn't fit over ... me. ._. I hate my stupid waist-to-knees area; I'm a small person! It should all be small as well! (This is why I don't like wearing anything that hugs. D:)

But the front looks awesome! XD

Ladies, I hope we get to meet sometime between now and the convention so I could get pointers (and last-minute sewing in). I can't add the bottom stripe or finish the edges until this is resolved. D:

For something slightly related, Guillermo and I were discussing possible jobs for me. XD
