Happy late Girls' Day! >.>;;
Mar. 5th, 2008 03:56 amWork was stupid yesterday Monday. Beyond stupid. I don't even feel like complaining about it anymore. THAT is how stupid it was.
After work, my darling boyfriend was waiting outside and he spent the night! ^_^ We slept in late, got something to eat, and got books. I got a new writing journal, because my current one is on its last, some Terry Goodkind and a random manga. Then we came back here for deciphering Morse Code (I'm better at it than he is), and then some other stuff I can't remember for some reason. And then he had to go because he has school in the morning.
So in the past four hours, I caught up on things, practiced a little, and got the left-field inspiration to figure out Link's stupid hat. I kinda did? But I kinda didn't. I think it's more or less impossible to get it to sit the way he's got it with just one seam. Further experimentation shall take place later today (after I'm done cleaning my room because it's always a train wreck after Phill leaves. I love him to pieces, but this room is too small for him), and perhaps a more definite conclusion shall be reached. In the meantime, I will curse the stupid thing, and start working on my new shield. :D (New hat is necessary and ALSO for a project? Maybe?)
It's March. I had the door open to let Phill leave, and I wasn't freezing my ass off! It's raining right now, and it's slapping against the windows because it's windy too (:::rain assaults windows::: WHOA, it's REALLY windy!), but it's not COLD. Next Sunday is (Amy's birthday and) the start of Daylight Saving Time, and more daylight and warmer weather means a slightly happier Venus (only slightly. Let's not forget August '06, haha). ^_^
Edit, 04:19 - WTF the shape I just came up with for a possible hat pattern looks like a squid (or at least, a Blooper. It's one piece, but it's about three very visible seams. :/). LMAO I wish I were joking. It's cute, though. I might cut a small one. ♥ I love squid!
