Light toast and ADVENTUUUURRE!

Every once in a while, I lament that I never have any adventures. Not that I do anything to fix that, but it still seems like I should fall into one every now and then, at least. Today's adventure wasn't the epic masterpiece that I've been craving, but it certainly was fun (it's a pretty long cut, so you don't have to read it)!

Tomorrow doesn't promise to hold the same funtime adventure, but I'll be spending it outside again. It's Memorial Day, after all, Dad's Legion post is having a barbecue, naturally, and there will be lots of food (and, as my dad was quick to point out, two-dollar beers that I won't have to worry about, since he'll be tending the bar). It's also my dad's birthday, and so there might be cake and such as well. I'll bring the candles. XD
