Because, let's face it: it's four in the morning, and I'm only just about to get to bed. Part of that just-now-ness is because I was searching for a lost needle (usually, I just stick it in the spool, but it must have been loose). Thankfully, it wasn't in my bed at all, but I was terrified that it was. As I came into the room just a few minutes ago, resigning myself to the fact that I might be half-blind come morning, I noticed a piece of tinsel on the carpet.
WTF tinsel?! So I picked it up to throw it away and lo, the needle's right there near it. So good thing it wasn't in my bed, and good thing I didn't step on it. I did, however, step on a pin while I was searching for the needle. Surprisingly, it wasn't painful at all. It felt like, well, a pinprick. I was surprised to see it halfway embedded in my heel, though; I suppose I have thick heel-skin to thank for not feeling it.
If you're gonna be at Japan Day, send me a text. Maybe my body will wake me up at NINE AM like it's been doing for the past week (five hours of sleep and I'm awake as all hell, what?!). And save me some gyoza. :D
(HOW IS IT JUNE ALREADY?!)
