Fangirling ahead. Please to be ignoring.

In non-Avatar stuff, it's been a pretty good week. I ranted about the All-Star Game, but now that I've gotten over it and gotten sleep as well, I realize what a good game it was. Back and forth, and once they got to the tenth, my fingernails never left my teeth. The Mets won tonight, though, their TENTH in a row, boosting them to a tie for first with Philly. SECOND HALF, BABY.
Yesterday, in addition to my trip to the fabric store -- I have to go back, because I've run out of black thread and I forgot to get cording -- I also stopped by the central library and the one nearby and picked up the last two books in the Sword of Truth series. I was suffering withdrawal, and was sad that I had nothing to read before bed. But now I do. ^_^ I was surprised I found a hardcover copy of Confessor at my local branch!
Tomorrow, I'm gonna go chill with Shaina for a few hours, if the furniture people come early enough, and when I come home, I'll have to start packing. Yay!
Since I've also been neglecting to wish people happy birthdays this week, happy slightly late birthday to
thekaraokeninja,
memoriesofyuna, and
raspberrysorbet, to Evie and Elaine today (Friday), and my brother tomorrow (Saturday). Hurray for people born on the nineteeth. ^_^ Pretty sure that covers me through the weekend. Don't know if I'll be home on Sunday or Monday. I hope we get some f'real dansu in. (Also, can we make Avacookies? Or at least fireflakes? lol)
And then I'll have tons of games to play when I do come home.... FF4 comes out on Tuesday, SQUEE!
On that excited and more-than-likely caffeine-driven note, I'm gonna get some last-minute stitching and reading in before I hit the hay. Long day tomorrow. :D
