Erica left about a half hour ago. *tearbend*
We had fun and accomplished quite a bit today. First, she scouted my house and my bedroom and approved. She loved everything. XD My mom had already gotten home, so we couldn't practice in the living room (where the air conditioner is!) like we'd planned, so we took it outside.
It was hot, and once the sun started going down, the bugs started coming out (I got eaten ALIVE. Seriously, I had at least a dozen bites on my legs), but we did well. We started by brushing up on our old stuff, which was good, because we'd forgotten some of the details, mostly on King Kong.
We went over Spiderman, which we have perfectly (I just need to cut a short version); Dancin' and Dreamin', where Erica needs to work on her timing a bit, and I need to work on the few moves I've got backwards; Ike Ike, which Erica finally got!; we briefly touched on Jiriri, Caramelldansen (we can't come up with anything! >_<) and Tell Me; we're working on Munasawagi Scarlet because we love it, and Now and Forever's coming along a little bit (we've got placement issues); and Super Euro Flash to end it.
Around seven, dinner was ready, and the bugs were killing us, so we decided to take it inside. I demonstrated Distance and started teaching Erica, who picked up on it pretty quickly. BTDubs, I favorited it on our account and cut the song. You're welcome. Erica also showed me Berryz 17th, Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance, which is kinda boring until 1:02. :D
We looked through ALL of Berryz' stuff eventually, and found only a handful of dances that are worth attempting, none newer than Munasawagi. D:
Anyway, so dinner was yummy (Erica never had Hamburger Helper before!), and so was the awesome iced tea! And before long, Eri had to go home, which made us sad, but we'll practice again soon. I can't wait to practice with Laura this weekend and with Michele eventually and NYAF is going to KICK ASS, you guys! ♥
