Home again, home again, jiggity-jig.

Hey. I'm finally home. It felt SO NICE to see Manhattan this afternoon. Like, OH MAN, I'M HOME. T_T My heart sang, I swear.

Otakon, as I recapped before, was fun. Spending the two days by myself at Laura's was a little strange, but the party was fun (there was Avatar cosplay (apparently, now that I know how to pull it off, Katara's hair looks good on me. I kept it for today). And Neil Patrick Harris (not in person, sadly).). Adri, Eri, Theresa and I stayed up past four in the morning talking about sex. It was amazingly unawkward.

After I got home today -- and scared the hell out of my parents -- I hung out with Phill. It started to rain very hard, so we stayed in and played a few games of MtG and, as it turns out, the deck I bought at CTCon works pretty well against his stupid Transference bullshit (so does my weenie Elf deck, but he says that doesn't count). :D

The rain had stymied our original plans to head out to Arby's for something to eat, and once we determined the rain wasn't going to let up, we went out anyway. Mmm, reuben sandwich. :D We hit up the bookstore, and again, I suffered author!fail when I didn't remember who wrote the books I wanted.... Oh well. I was freezing and I got coffee so I was warm AND wired.

Phill's off working now. D: But just as well, since I have a week's worth of laundry to start on. ... And Dr. Horrible to download. Otakon loose ends and pictures will be up soon, and hopefully, I'll have a fresh (preferably non-retail) job to go with them.

I cried today because I was so happy and so at peace with the world (maybe I was just THAT happy to be home). ^_^ I had a good day.
